Fruit Kabobs

Hello food lovers!

With Summer right around the corner, it’s time for one of the best summer snacks: Fruit Kabobs!

Fruit kabobs an be a combination of all fruits or your personal favorites. It’s natural sugar that your body needs, will give you more energy for the day and is a cooling, relaxing snack!

Here’s what you need:

 

  • strawberries, halved
  • cantaloupe, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • pineapple, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • green grapes
  • blueberries
  • red grapes
  • bamboo skewers
  • any other fruits!

You can place the cut pieces of fruit in any order on the sticks, which is the best part. My personal favorite combination is the rainbow fruit kabob. You make your fruit kabob in the order of the rainbow colors. So, you put a strawberry, a piece of cantaloupe, a piece of pineapple, one green grape, two blueberries and then a purple grape!

You can also dip your fruit kabobs in some fluffy non-fat cool whip or whipped cream for a little sweetness. For a display, you can stack the kabobs or put them in a circle on a plate. Displays really add some decoration, especially for a summer party!
