Infused Water

Hello food lovers!

It is time for a beverage post: Infused Water!

Instead of buying fruit flavored water from local super markets, you can make your own fruit infused water!

Most infused water combinations use a lot of sweet fruits and cucumbers, with the occasional use of lemons and limes.

Here is one of my favorite infused water recipes:

  • Water bottle
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 lemon
  • mint
  • blueberries (or another fruit you’d prefer)

First, slice the cucumber and lemon into very thin slices. Then, slice a tiny bit of a handful of blueberries. After that, peel some mint leaves off the stems.

Once you have you water bottle, fill it with water about 75 percent full. Finally, add some blueberries, cucumber and lemon slices and a few leaves of mint. Put the cap on top of the water bottle and let the water sit for about 20 to 30 minutes. By letting it sit, it will give the water time to be infused with the fruit and mint flavors.

After 20-30 minutes passes by, drink and enjoy!

Infused water is incredibly healthy for you and also curves your hunger, which can help you from caving into cheat meals or snacks! It is so simple and quick to make!

If you’re not a fan of this specific combo, try infusing mint, lemon and two of your favorite fruits! For example, one of my personal favorite combinations are raspberries, pineapple, lemon and mint.
