Do you have a small fridge in your apartment? Do you tend to have bigger containers that take up too much room? Well, then it is time to try Salad Jars!
It’s really simple and easy! Here’s what you need:
-6 pint size mason jars
-Vegetables of your choice (peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, broccoli and carrots would work best!)
-A pack of romaine lettuce
-A large bowl
-Sharp cutting knife
Cut all of your favorite veggies into small pieces. Put all the veggies into the large bowl and mix it all together. Next, cut the lettuce. After that, fill each jar 1/3 up with veggies. Then, fill the rest of the jars with lettuce. Put the caps on each jar and store in the fridge until you’re ready to eat! Once you’re ready, pour the salad jar into a bowl, add your favorite type of salad dressing and enjoy! 🙂
The salads stay fresh for 2 WEEKS!
You can also use these jars to make other things, like smoothies and some fruit salads as well!
