To start off the healthy dinner meals, here is one of my personal favorites: steak, broccoli and rice.
This meal is perfect for you if you need a balanced meal with protein, veggies and carbs. It is also very filling and tasty!
My dad cooks this for me all the time at home and eventually, I will have to start learning how to cook it on my own. This meal usually takes less than an hour to prepare!
Here’s what you need:
6oz. steak or beef tenderloin (or whichever kind of meat you prefer)
10 mini stalks of broccoli
1 1/2 cup of rice (brown or white)
A1 Steak Sauce
1/2 a lemon
1/4 stick of butter
If you don’t like broccoli, replace it with one of your favorite veggies!
Cook the steak to the state you prefer. Then, cut it into thin slices. Cook the broccoli in boiling water on high for about 10-15 minutes or microwave it if the broccoli is frozen. Also boil water on high and cook the 1/2 cup of rice in a small pan for about 15-20 minutes. Once the cooking is finished, place neatly on a plate. Last but not least, drizzle some A1 sauce on the steak and some lemon on the broccoli to add some flavor. Finally, dig in and enjoy!
